Wayside Saloon

Justin Koertner, didn’t want for his newly owned establishment to be called a bar and when someone told him what once stood here was a saloon, he knew the building had history and exactly what to name it. The Wayside Saloon took over what used to be Christy’s just outside of Freeport off of Route 26. Owners Amber and Justin Koertner, are continuing many of the previous traditions, including live bands and comedy and trivia nights. Stop in for beer, cocktails and their hospitable staff!
